Tester is as indispensable fo a technician. It is very useful for it can interpret readings that will give technicians the hints or clues on troubleshooting electronic devices, or a cellphone. After unlocking Sony Ericsson W580i, we will unlock this LG GR500. First thing to do is short the 2 points as shown below. So take out the battery and proceed to jumpering.

You need a 5310 USB cable and again, a working mind ^_^.

Tutorial On How To Use SE Tool Box For Unlocking Various Sony Ericsson Cell Phones

Hi students! I here, I will show you how to unlocked cell phones. Our example here is the SOny Ericsson W580i. It was locked to AT&T provider. W e will unlock it via SE Tool Box. Some SOny Ericsson phones requires the so called TEST CARD to unlock it. But I unlock this cell phone W580i with NO TEST CARD or TEST SIM. Actually this is just another method. Use it if you don't have any TEST SIM or TEST CARD.

Requirements for unlocking this W580i are as follows:
1. SE Tool Box with Software Version 1.01.
2. Sony Ericsson RJ45 cable.
3. Working mind ^_^
